This 33 year-old woman had had one child, and had retained a fair degree of breast hypertrophy and ptosis, with attendant symptoms of upper back and shoulder pain.  She did not wish to undergo a formal breast reduction (and likely would not have qualified per insurance requirements), but instead desired a lift, and to stay somewhat close to her current bra size of 34DD.  She also felt it was unlikely she was going to have another child, so she wished to address her abdominal laxity (as well as moderate back, flank and thigh lipodystrophy).  I advised her that she was healthy enough to have all of these procedures performed as a "Mommy Makeover", under full/general anesthesia monitoring at Lake Forest Hospital.

The patient was 5' 7" and approximately 200 pounds at the time of surgery.  She underwent a bilateral mastopexy, with the removal of approximately 180gm of tissue on the right, and 170gm on the left.  A formal abdominoplasty was performed as well, with adjuvant liposuction of the back/flanks (2200cc), as well as the inner thighs (400-500cc each).  She recovered quite nicely, and was back to relatively full activity in 2-4 weeks (photographs are from approximately 3 months post-op).
