AFTER (4 mo)

AFTER (4 mo)

33 year old woman who had had bilateral mastectomies (for left breast carcinoma, which also required radiation therapy; the right side was removed prophylactically), followed by bilateral expander-then-implant reconstruction in downtown Chicago.  She was displeased with the overall contours characterized by skin excess (especially on the right side), as well as general firmness and the malposition of the nipples.

I advised bilateral gel implant upsizing with pocket adjustments, possibly to be followed by new nipple-areolar reconstructions at a future date when the implants are fully settled (not yet performed; mound revision photos are from approximately 4 months post-op).
