This 34 year-old woman had had one child, as well as a bilateral tubal ligation thereafter (via an open approach, which left a somewhat tethered lower abdominal scar).  She wished to rid herself of her excess lower abdominal skin with this "hanging effect", as well as tighten up her muscular framework.

I advised her that this 5' 3", 165 pound woman from northern Illinois was an excellent candidate for a full abdominoplasty under general anesthesia.  This was indeed performed without difficulty as an overnight procedure, and she recovered without incident (photographs are from 3 months post-op).
