Illinois/Chicago Area Plastic Surgery Procedures:
Before & After Photo Gallery
Lake Forest Plastic Surgery offers a wide variety of aesthetic and reconstructive procedures, including but not limited to what is listed in the menu at the left. Dr. Steinwald's goal is to apply safe, modern techniques to achieve optimal but realistic results, based on our Chicago area patients' individual needs and wishes.
During an initial consultation, Dr. Steinwald will discuss with you your motivations to have plastic surgery (especially if elective aesthetic surgery), and listen to your desires and expectations. After performing a directed history and physical examination, he will provide an honest assessment as to whether you are a good candidate for the desired procedure(s). He will also carefully explain any pertinent risks or limitations of the proposed procedure, so that you may make an informed decision as to whether to procede with surgery. You are encouraged to bring significant others with you to a consultation, and even seek out second opinions from other surgeons after talking to us, as the decision to undergo elective surgery is an extremely important one, and at no point will anyone in our office pressure you into making such a decision.
If you decide to undergo aesthetic or reconstructive surgery, we will make every effort to schedule the procedure when it is most convenient for you. Dr. Steinwald has a fairly flexible surgical schedule, usually performing major cases on Mondays and Thursdays, and minor cases on Tuesday and Friday mornings. He also makes it a point to be as accessible/available as possible for post-operative follow-up and/or urgent concerns. Every time you come to the office for a scheduled appointment, you will be seen by Dr. Steinwald, so that no potential problems are overlooked or concerns unaddressed.
