Our Plastic Surgery Practice in Chicago

We are proud to have our main office still housed in the building where it all started. This converted nursing dorm is where founding/senior member O.P. Steinwald, M.D. set up practice in 1974, on the beautiful, college-like campus of Lake Forest Hospital. Our main office is a cozy, cottage-like setting, meant to be as comfortable as your own home, but with modern amenities such as Room 3 medi-spa which houses our Trimatrixx erb:YAG skin rejuvenation laser, and our Regenique™ microdermabrasion/ultrasound machine. This room is also where in-office minor surgeries take place. The office since has undergone several rounds of remodeling and redecoration, including most recently in late 2008, during which a majority of the public areas of our North Shore plastic surgery office received a "facelift".
For the convenience of patients closer to the city, Dr. Steinwald has also arranged for the part-time use of a radiology colleague's beautiful downtown office, at the Diagnostic Imaging Specialists of Chicago, P.C. (60 E. Delaware Place, Suite 1410, (312-988-9330)). Dr. Steinwald is able see consults and perform in-office injectable procedures here, as well as see patients in follow-up post-operatively, just downstairs from the 900 N. Michigan Surgery Center.
Dr. Steinwald and his staff's primary goal is to make you feel welcome and comfortable while exploring your best options for Chicago plastic or reconstructive surgery, in a highly professional, confidential environment. Dr. Steinwald is also dedicated to providing complete and timely communication with patients and referring physicians alike, both before and especially after surgery. He is almost always reachable via the answering/paging service, to help ensure that your concerns are addressed directly whenever possible.
